About Our Coffee
Started with a curiosity of why he had a headache and stomach-ache each time he drank coffee, was the fuel for our founder, Mr. Natanael Charis to know more about this amazing beans. In 2004 He went to Italy and Australia to seek all the fact of how to produce a high quality coffee. Finally he knows that he is allergic to a badly processed coffee.
In 2006 he started the first Specialty coffee shop in Bandung, called Morning Glory Coffee, since then he focused selling high quality coffee from West Java Region.
In 2008 Morning Glory started to have our own Coffee Plantation in several places in West Java Province, by doing so we have a consistent quality of the coffee that we serve you.
Coffee is a complex agricultural product that changes from year to year and deserve the utmost care in growing, harvesting, processing, roasting and brewing.
With the expertise from our founder, we strictly controlled each step of these process with excellence attitude that we apply to everyone involved in our coffee processing chain.
Our Coffee are Organically grown and Planted inside the protected forest in West Java Province, which have a micro climate that is perfect to grow coffee.
In 2015 we started to commencing our first Franchise in Bandung, now we have total 20 shops operating in Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Bali, Medan, Sydney and Melbourne.
In 2019 we launch our latest product called JAVANARO DRIP, it's a 10 different profile of coffee from our Arabica and Robusta Coffee Plantation, processed in different ways to give you a complex cup profile, that you will love every single of them, some of the coffee are nice for manual brewing and have it as it is with no sugar nor milk added while some will be very nice for you who love to have a bold, strong coffee that blend nicely with condensed milk.
